{"id":230,"date":"2012-04-01T18:13:34","date_gmt":"2012-04-01T23:13:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.georgetownshores.org\/private\/blog\/?p=230"},"modified":"2012-04-10T10:34:53","modified_gmt":"2012-04-10T15:34:53","slug":"proposed-turn-over-document","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.georgetownshores.org\/private\/blog\/?p=230","title":{"rendered":"Proposed Turn over Document"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; color: #666666; font-size: x-small;\">Residents,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; color: #666666; font-size: x-small;\">Greetings to all residents of East Georgetown Shores Lake Association.\u00a0 The first lots in our development were sold in the 1999 time frame and over\u00a0several years and 6 phases of construction Georgetown Shores has\u00a0 become a great place to live and build community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; color: #666666; font-size: x-small;\">Over the years the advisory committee has worked on behalf of the residents to help the developer in the daily operations and issues of the association.\u00a0\u00a0We have been in discussions with the developer on a time frame for the turning over of the association to the residents.\u00a0 Over the last few months the advisory committee has been working with the developer to protect their continued interest but\u00a0at the same time give the residents control of the association.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; color: #666666; font-size: x-small;\">Here\u00a0is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.georgetownshores.org\/private\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/lwr-558443-v3-bg_development___assn_turnover_agmt_for_east_georgetown_shores.pdf\">Proposed Turn Over Document<\/a> that has been presented to the residents for their vote of approval.\u00a0 We will discuss this at the meeting at 9:00 am on April 14th and vote whether or not to accept the association under these terms.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; color: #666666; font-size: x-small;\">Please review the document and be prepared to vote whether or not to have the advisory committee sign this document on all of the residents&#8217; behalf.\u00a0 If we vote to approve the document, we will work out the plan to transition from the appointed advisory committee to an elected association board.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Residents, Greetings to all residents of East Georgetown Shores Lake Association.\u00a0 The first lots in our development were sold in the 1999 time frame and over\u00a0several years and 6 phases of construction Georgetown Shores has\u00a0 become a great place to live and build community.
