Mailboxes, Trailers, Boats, Trash and general appearance around the Community

Since late 2016, we have made great strides in getting our neighborhood consistent & compliant in terms of the Declarations of Restrictions (DoR) that we all agreed to when purchasing property in our beautiful neighborhood.  Specifically, we have gone to great lengths to address a common mailbox, common trash hauler and better adhere to the trailer/motorhome/boat in driveway rule of no more than 48hrs. (remember, we are open to extensions so please ask)

Due to a longer Winter and wet/cold Spring, we have had to extend the initial deadlines to address these items. Memorial Day has come and gone and now it is time to make sure you have taken care of the items mentioned. If you have not, please do so by June 19, 2017. This gives you another weekend to address any outstanding items. Those of you who have taken care of these items, THANK YOU!

All of the parameters for these items are addressed on our website. Please refer to it if need be. You may also feel free to reach out to the East Georgetown Shores Architectural Control Committee by emailing: archreview@georgetownshores.org.

Happy Summer 2017!

Garage Sale

Sounds like there will be many residents having a garage sale on April 13 & 14.

Be especially careful on the streets.

Just a quick reminder…
The annual Georgetown Shores Neighborhood Garage Sale!! The dates will be Thursday April 13 and Friday April 14 from 9-4. Please call/text Kim Scholten at 745-4344 if you plan to participate and have anything specific you are selling that you would like me to put in Craig’s list ad! Once again, we will take care of placing signs on all the major corners but feel free to mark your own house or street corner! Spread the word to any neighbors

Thank you

Annual Informational Meeting

We will be having our Annual Informational Meeting at 9:00 AM, April 22, in The Hill at Hillcrest CRC located at 3617 Hillcrest in Hudsonville.  We will go over some of the Association projects and get feedback from the residents.   We will be having our annual voting via electronic means in May or June.

Repair for Problem Street Lights

Some residents have reported issues with some of the street lights in our neighborhood.  The street lights were placed as part of the Georgetown Township development requirement and after construction they are handed over to the Township.  The Township contracts with Consumers Energy to maintain them.  They will send out crews to fix and repair damage as well as replace problem bulbs and censors.  There is a web form that helps them identify problem lamps so if you have one in your yard, that is not on or that constantly goes on and off please post to have it looked at.  The site is:
