As the Dog Days of Summer come into full swing the Safety Committee wants to remind all the GS residents to make sure they stay alert and safe when out in their boat or the water in general.

On the front web page for GS we have links to some of the state of Michigan Boater safety sites.  If you are new to boating, please go take a look at the information found there.  If you want a safety booklet to read, please let me know and I have copies I can give you.

I also just found this new site called “Safe Boating Kids Site” and it looks great for our younger residents to check out.
