We are planning to have an Resident’s meeting on Saturday, April 16th at 9:00 am. It has been a number of years since we have attempted to have a residents meeting.
The meeting will be held in the basement community room at the City of Hudsonville offices at 3275 Central Blvd in Hudsonville. The meeting should not take too long and we would like to have a good attendance of residents.
We also want to encourage you to take along a pair of gloves and a rake so we can do some clean-up around the community after the meeting. The items we are going to work on are:
- Weed and place mulch around the entrance signs
- Rake stones from the new grass at the boat launch area
- Clean up sand at the boat launch area
- Clean up trash along the berm on VanBuren and 14th Ave.
Unfortunately I missed the clean up activity on April 16th.
However, the beach is looking pretty rough. Is there a plan to maintain this periodically?
If not, maybe we could have another beach clean up day and/or have it once per month to stay on top of it?
I hate to see this beach get overrun by grass/weeds. It is a nice place to take the family and looked great last year when it was first put in.
